YouTube introduces AI-driven auto-dubbing in 27 languages, letting viewers watch videos in their own tongue while preserving original voice tone and expression.
SAN FRANCISCO (Web Desk) – With the use of cutting-edge AI technology, YouTube has released a significant update that enables viewers all over the world to see videos in their native tongue.
27 languages are now supported by the new artificial intelligence-powered capability. YouTube allows users to choose their favorite language in the settings, and if there is a dubbed version, it will play it automatically.
One notable feature of the update is the “Expressive Speech” technology, which avoids the flat, robotic sound typical of standard dubbing by preserving the original creator’s voice tone, emotions, and style.
English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish content may now be expressively auto-dubbed; other languages will be added shortly. For viewers throughout the world, the upgrade is regarded as a game-changer that eliminates linguistic boundaries.
According to YouTube, the change helps creators by expanding their audience to include viewers from other countries and provides a more organic and pleasurable experience for viewers, making it simpler for viewers to comprehend and enjoy material in different languages.
