According to the agenda released by the European Commission on Friday, Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet (GOOGL.O), will meet with Thierry Breton, the head of the EU industry, and Vera Jourova, the deputy head of the European Commission, in Brussels on May 24.

Breton is in charge of creating the digital regulations that, among other things, would obligate Alphabet’s Google and other internet behemoths to permit business customers to access data created on its platform.
Avoiding treating their services and goods more favourably than competitors is among the list of don’ts.

Google and other digital behemoths must take more measures to combat illicit online content on their platforms as a result of new EU tech regulations.
