The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced an astonishing breakthrough in the country’s online environment.
Over 46,000 new domain names will be registered under the UAE’s national.ae domain in 2022. As of the first quarter (Q1) of 2023, the total number of registered domains had reached 300,000.
This over 20% rise cements.ae as the most popular national domain in the UAE and the fastest rising in the Arab world.
