Microsoft began a substantial software makeover effort to fit with the Windows 11 era in the summer of 2021. As part of this effort, the firm announced a significant update to the popular MS Paint programme, including the much-anticipated addition of dark mode functionality.
When Windows 11 was released in October 2021, the app’s upgraded version was missing this capability. Thankfully, Windows Insiders in the Dev and Canary channels may now celebrate since they can finally try a new, darker version of the Paint programme.
