According to the outage monitoring website Downdetector.com, user complaints of outages at Alphabet Inc’s (GOOGL.O) YouTube and YouTube TV significantly decreased early on Friday from a peak of over 13,000 incidences of people reporting troubles with YouTube.

Reuters contacted YouTube for comment on the origin of the outage and how it was fixed, but they did not answer.

According to data from Downdetector, the number of users reporting problems with YouTube has decreased from the peak of the disruption to 18 as of 1:25 am ET (05:25 GMT).

After more than 3000 users reported problems, the number of outage reports on YouTube TV dropped to just 2 at 1:30 am ET (05:30 GMT).
