The German Consulate in Karachi has announced its temporary shutdown.
According to the official statement, the consulate has been closed from 8-11 July due to operational reasons.
Passport collecting will continue when visa appointments are postponed, the statement said.
The news has left many Pakistanis, including students, business travelers, and tourists, unsure about their future plans.
In a separate development, Sweden has restarted visa processing in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, visa processing has restarted with immediate effect.
