The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta has officially revealed the results of the yearly matriculation examinations, which showed an overall pass rate of 68.10%.


According to Muhammad Ishaq, Chairman of BISE Quetta, 148,114 students took the matric examinations this year, and 100,870 passed.


Aftab Alam, a student from Balochistan Residential College, received the highest score of 1,051. Muhammad Hashir finished second with 1,043 points, and Muhammad Tufail and Saqib Ali tied for third place with 1,038 points each.

Breaking down the results, 69,275 pupils took the 9th-grade tests, with 32,067 certified successful, representing a pass percentage of 46.29%. For tenth grade, 78,839 pupils took the examinations, with 68,803 passing, resulting in a substantially higher success percentage of 87.27%.
